What does Dolci Peccati® mean?

In italian, Dolci Peccati® means “Sweet Sins” which, besides being only two words, they carry all that precious sensation of deserving something rich and sweet, and though really deep inside its supposed to be a bad thing, you feel you really want it.
It’s a trophy to life, something you choose to eat, no matter what.
You want it, you get it, you enjoy it... It’s a Dolci Peccati®.

What’s the difference between Gelato and Ice Cream?

Gelato is simply a ‘better quality’ ice cream. The difference relies on Air and Fat.
During the Gelato making process, the amount of air used is minimum compared to ice cream which is close to half air-half product. This makes Gelato much more compact and rich.
Also, for Gelato only fresh products are used, and in our specific case, organic!
Gelato usually has a 3%-10% fat, while regular ice cream has from 10%-17% of fat.
In other words, Gelato is creamier, tastier, and it’s fresh.

Do you make your own gelato?

Yes, we even went to school for this and we have more than 4 years of experience in the process of making Gelato. We have our own recipes and everything is made fresh from scratch.
Our Gelato is premium quality. If you order a container to-go it can last up to 3 months fresh in your freezer without losing texture or flavor, as long as it remains under the same temperature.

Do you make non-dairy gelato?

Yes. The non-dairy version of Gelato is really called Sorbet. (but everybody still calls it Gelato).
The difference is that Gelato is necessarily cream-based (milk) and Sorbet is water-based.
Sorbet flavors are perfect for lactose intolerant, vegan and fruit lovers!

What flavors can be ordered?

Every week we feature different flavors and new creations. In stock, we always have Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, and Cookies and Cream available.
If you want to place an order, we’ll let you know the flavors available that week or you can order 3 days in advance for any specific flavor on our list.

Allergic to nuts, eggs or milk?

In Dolci Peccati®, we use these ingredients. It’s important for you to know that even though we deeply wash all our tools after processing each product, it’s impossible to guarantee that our Gelato is 100% free of them.

Where is the truck usually located?

We usually attend some of the roundups with other food trucks in Miami. Also, corporate events or private parties.
In our social media profiles, we update our location so you know where to find us.
We’re not available every single day, but soon we’ll have our own Dolci store so you can visit us anytime.
We’re on Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and Instagram.
If there’s an event or spot where you would like us to be present, write us an email to info@dolcipeccatigelato.com and we’ll do our best to be there

Does Dolci Peccati® have delivery services?

Yes, but it depends on your location and what you order. Minimum delivery is a dozen of Pops or a 1 liter Gelato container. If you are craving is less than these amounts, you can visit us in our kitchen, calling in advance for pick-up or follow us in Facebook to know our daily locations.

Do you have a Dolci Peccati® store?

Not yet, but we will! We are currently looking for available spaces. If you have any suggestions of places, please send us an email to info@dolcipeccatigelato.com. That will help us a lot, and we’ll keep you posted.
